The next N2K Seminar (Need to Know) Seminar takes place on Tuesday 8th July 2008 and will look at Restructuring and Reorganisations.

This series of quarterly breakfast seminars is designed to give those involved in corporate finance ongoing training on the legal side of corporate finance transactions.

At this N2K seminar, we will focus on the legal aspects of strategies likely to be engaged by businesses in the foreseeable future to protect themselves from the ravages of the credit crunch. Once again, the presentation will be based around a topical (but fictional) case study and that will be used to illustrate a number of common reorganisations, including s110 reorganisations and statutory demergers.

We have called this series of talks "Need to Know" seminars as they are aimed to provide an overview of the legal process – looking at some of the more common technical issues and documents – but without being “overkill” in terms of detail.

The seminar will be held on Tuesday 8 July 2008. Please note that we have moved to the Radisson SAS Birmingham for this N2K seminar. It will start at 8.00am with registration and breakfast, followed by the presentations at 8.25am and concluding with a Q&A session by 9.45am. This invitation is, of course, extended to any of your colleagues who may be interested. We hope that it will prove to be a useful addition to your ongoing professional development and the talks will count towards CPD points for professionals.

Feedback on previous N2K seminars has been that both young bucks and silver foxes alike have found them both useful and engaging.

Please note, there is no charge for attending
