Our team of public sector solicitors has a strong record of supporting organisations in the public and not for profit sectors and an ever increasing client list covering regional development agencies, local government, regeneration agencies, public health bodies, schools and colleges, recreational and cultural organisations, social housing associations as well as a diverse range of other not for profit organisations, often with a local or regional connection.
The value we bring to organisations in these sectors is built on a commitment to providing specialist advice in a cost effective manner, driven by an understanding of each organisation and the environment in which it operates.
A number of our partners and fee earners have joined us from in-house positions with local authorities and universities. With this experience, we have a clear understanding of the pressures on public bodies and the issues that arise. We also recognise that most public sector clients have their own in-house legal team and our role should be to act as an extension of that team to support our public sector clients to meet their aims in a timely manner.
