Employment Insurance
Our standard package provides for insurance to cover you for all legal costs associated with defending any employment claim to tribunal or court and any awards that might be made against you.
The cost of the insurance is calculated by our insurers based upon your specific circumstances: the wageroll costs of your business, the business sector and your claims record over the past five years.
We assume for quotation purposes that you would want the default settings of £500 excess per claim: £50K limit per claim, and £500K aggregate limit in any year. This can be altered at your request. The quote also assumes that you want cover for all legal costs from the point of first legal contact ie before a claim to an employment tribunal.
The insurance will cover you for any incident so long as:
- You have sought and taken our advice through the helpline
- You have disclosed to us all material factors
