Employment Law Seminar: Retirement and pensions - is your business ready? |
| Venue: |
King Power Stadium, Filbert Way, Leicester LE2 7FL |
| Date: |
18th January 2012: 07:45 - 09:30 |
In a bid to increase the level of retirement saving in the UK, the Government is introducing new legislation from October 2012, which will require every employer, regardless of size, to automatically enrol the vast majority of their workforce into a suitable workplace pension scheme and to make contributions on their behalf. Also, since the abolition of the default retirement age, it is now very difficult for employers to retire employees at age 65.
For our next employment law seminar, we have teamed up with RSM Tenon to look at the new pensions reform and its impact on the employer and explore ways to deal with ageing employees, which will include consideration of the law and provide some practical assistance to address this very difficult problem.
The seminar will take place on the 18th January 2012 at the King Power Stadium, Filbert Way, Leicester LE2 7FL. It will begin with registration and breakfast at 7.45am, formal presentations at 8.15am, and close with a Q&A session by 9.30am.
The seminar is aimed at managing directors, financial directors and HR professionals and we do hope you can attend. There is no charge for this seminar but places are limited - to reserve your place(s), please click here to complete the on-line form.
