Buying and Selling a Business – Key Elements

For many entrepreneurs, the idea for starting their business was to make a difference. Not just a difference in the eyes of the consumer, but also a difference to their own financial well-being. Whether your business is one based around generating an income or for building growth, there will come a time when selling the business, or buying another one is the right thing to do.

We are holding a breakfast seminar in association with The FD Centre and PKF Accountants and business advisors, looking at how to improve the value of your business deal.

We will discuss when you should build an exit strategy into your business plans and identify exactly what buyers are looking for, as well as what as a vendor your preferences would be.

The presentations will look at the legal and taxation challenges around the sale and/or purchase, and also show you how to value a business and look at the financial and non financial elements in commercial planning including identifying the common pitfalls.
