Our next employment law seminar takes place on 13th October 2009 and focuses on sickness in all its forms; recent legal developments, practical advice on managing a range of specific situations, and, best of all, occupational health professionals explaining what they do and how they can help your business and the management of sickness.
We are running this seminar with our colleagues from Forge Health, specialist occupational health providers to whom we often refer clients.
John Simon will chair this seminar, and the presenters will include John Palmer - HR Consultant, Natalie Thomson – Solicitor from Harvey Ingram, and Gail Cotton and Teresa Harrison from Forge Health. This promises to be a unique opportunity to discuss the vexed questions of managing a wide variety of sickness situations: sickness and holidays; phased returns to work, disability issues, long term sick, and the interaction of sickness and health insurance.
We would also like to incorporate your questions in our presentation. If you have a specific area of sickness you would like us to address, please email John Palmer and provide details - we shall aim to include as many of these as possible in our presentation. Anonymity is guaranteed.
This seminar will take place at the Central Suite, New Caterpillar Stand, Leicester Tigers, Welford Road, Leicester, and ample free car parking will be available at the Tigers Crumbie Car Park. We will start with registration and refreshments at 7.45am, presentations at 8.15am and close with a Q&A session at 9.30am.
Finally, we are delighted to offer our delegates a 30 minute tour around Tigers' exciting new Caterpillar Stand. This will take place shortly after the seminar and if you are interested, please contact our Marketing Events Manager, Daljit Flora on daljit.flora@harveyingram.com.
