We recognise that it is important for both the client and their design team that a sensible, economic design is produced to meet the clients brief and that the right framework is established at the outset to promote this objective.
We advise clients and their architects, consulting engineers, cost consultants and other members of the professional team on their terms of appointment, and the provision of warranties, guarantees and bonds. We are familiar with the issues currently facing construction professionals, and can help to address them in the drafting of the contract documentation.
A significant area of our practice is advising on the interpretation of legislation and regulations affecting the design process, such as the CDM Regulations, together with advice on risk management and insurance issues.
