Welcome to the world of Jack and Jill. We run a family business – Jack and Jill Enterprises Ltd. We make and sell lots of things. We also employ quite a few people. Like all businesses from time to time, we find ourselves, with employment problems – a frequently absent employee, someone with a medical problem, a potential conflict of interest, etc. The list is endless.

This is the story of our attempts to manage various situations. With a little help sometimes from our friends at Harvey Ingram.

In the middle of each month we will share with you our adventures and how we manage the situations. We hope our experiences will help you with similar problems [or should it be ‘challenges’ in management speak?].

As well as this email we have developed a blog site where we have provided expanded information, and an opportunity for you to have your say on what we did.
