Compensation for your Injury

This is calculated by assessing how badly you have been injured. We would instruct a Medical Expert, usually a Consultant in the relevant area of medicine, to assist us in determining the value of your claim. If you are very badly injured then you may have to see more than one expert to consider all your injuries. We will arrange for you to have a meeting with them and they will examine you and provide a report detailing the type of injury you have had, how long the symptoms are likely to go on for and when they expect you to be fully recovered. We can then use that information to advise you as to how much the court would be likely to award if your claim is successful, then we will try and negotiate a settlement for you.

Compensation for your financial losses

If your claim is successful we can claim back for you any monies that you have had to pay out because of the accident or you have missed out on because of the accident. This can include items such as wages or bonus losses, travel expenses, treatment and medication costs. You have to prove these losses when you claim them from the Defendants so you should always keep receipts or other documentation.
