Our Planning & Development and Social Housing teams have been merged to create the Development & Regeneration team.
The move reflects the overlap in work types, client needs and the broad mix of skills we offer in this field. At the same time we have incorporated our dedicated housing plot sales team into the new Development & Regeneration team in recognition of their close links.
The team now combines the skills and expertise of specialist lawyers working for a range of clients including public bodies, corporate entities and private individuals. The new integrated team offers a comprehensive and cost-effective service to all clients.
Our team prides itself on being able to provide a wide range of services including:
- Development site acquisitions and disposals
- Disposal of freehold or leasehold commercial sites
- Obtaining planning permission
- Planning appeals and enforcement issues
- Preparing development agreements and assisting with construction
- Plot sales on behalf of developers
- All aspects of Social Housing law including property matters, housing management and corporate governance
The team works closely with our Construction & Engineering team on all construction-related issues - both contentious and non-contentious.
