Release date: 17/6/2010
Harvey Ingram has defied the downturn and is pressing ahead with its ambitious expansion plans with five new internal appointments that further strengthens its dominant position as Leicester's largest law firm.
Commercial property specialist Abe Mee and trusts and probate lawyer Katherine Neal, have both been promoted from associate to partner. At the same time personal injury specialist Kate Manley, IP and dispute resolution lawyer Pina McAleer, plus employment law specialist Natalie Thomson were made associates. They were all internal promotions.
Managing partner Simon Astill says: "We are delighted with all five appointments. They're fully deserved and reflect our commitment to recruiting, retaining and nurturing the very best industry talent. All five have key roles to play in our on-going strategic growth and highlight our diverse mix of skills.
"Our commitment to Leicester and the wider community remains second to none. It's easy to drop some service offerings as and when it suits, but it's our broad range of legal disciplines that marks us out as a full service firm to our clients and their businesses. It has also underpinned our ability to defy the downturn and ensure we maintain our dominant position as Leicester's largest law firm. We're all very optimistic about the current financial year and are looking forward to a superb 2011."
