Harvey Ingram lands double-header
Release date: 01/4/2009
Midlands' law firm Harvey Ingram landed two coveted awards within a matter of days when it was named Firm Of The Year (City) 2009 by Leicestershire Law Society, shortly before clinching the Leicestershire Cares Team of the Year 2008 award.
Leicestershire Law Society judges acknowledged the standard of entrants in this year's competition was extremely high, but singled out Harvey Ingram's staff for the consistent quality of their work. Leicestershire Cares, which is part of a national business in the community initiative, nominated the firm in recognition of its commitment to CSR and direct contribution to numerous causes in and around the city.
Harvey Ingram managing partner Simon Astill said: "It's an absolute privilege to collect these awards on behalf of the firm, which are a real tribute to the effort and commitment of our staff. I am delighted they have been acknowledged in this way because they are a hugely talented and determined bunch.
"Despite the difficult economic climate, they continue to be extremely enthusiastic about volunteering for Leicestershire Cares' diverse community projects like Right To Read, Pro Help and Collect 4 Christmas."
The latest brace of commendations follow a hat-trick of awards handed to Harvey Ingram during the latter part of last year, when the firm was named one of the UK's top 10 legal employers, landed LawNet's national CSR award and clinched a coveted spot in the MPF 100 Best Professional Firms to Work For 2008.
