Harvey Ingram smashes claims speed record

Following new rules introduced by the government on the 30 April 2010, Harvey Ingram's Personal Injury team has settled one of the UK's quickest ever personal injury claims, by taking it from start to finish within eight working days.

In the past, personal injury claims have typically taken several years to resolve, but the completion of a claim within eight working days now marks a new era.

Harvey Ingram discussed a road accident claim with a client by telephone on the 10 May. Following submission of an electronic claim notification, the at-fault insurer admitted liability the following day. Harvey Ingram's Personal Injury team then set about negotiating a settlement, which was agreed by 19 May.

Jonathan White, an associate in Harvey Ingram's Personal Injury team, says: "This claim demonstrates how quick and easy it is to bring a personal injury claim. We dealt with the claim via telephone and email with the costs to our client met by the at-fault party's insurers. Clients should no longer have to wait for months, if not years, for their claims to be resolved".
