Harvey Ingram unveils new Development and Regeneration team
Release date: 3/6/2010
Harvey Ingram has merged its Planning and Development, Social Housing and residential plot sales teams, to create a new Development and Regeneration team.
The move reflects an overlap in work types, client needs and the broad mix of skills the firm offers in this field. As a result, the team now combines and reflects the expertise of a host of specialist lawyers working for public bodies, corporate entities and private individuals.
Partner Paul Hunt heads the new Development and Regeneration team. He says: "This is a very exciting, timely move for us and follows a notable rise in demand and significant increase in work in this area. The new, integrated team offers a comprehensive and cost-effective service to all. As a result we are expecting the firm to continue picking up sizeable instructions from developers and landlords alike."
The team handles everything from acquisitions, disposals, planning and enforcement matters, development agreements and all aspects of social housing law including management, disputes and corporate governance.
Most of Harvey Ingram's new Development and Regeneration team will be at the 2010 Chartered Institute of Housing Conference in Harrogate, between June 22 and 24. The firm's stand is 152 in Hall C.
