Huge demand for legal advice at Relate

There is a huge demand for complimentary and confidential legal clinic being hosted by Relate Leicestershire, it emerged today.

Specialist Harvey Ingram family lawyers are available at Relate's headquarters at 83 Aylestone Road, between now and the end of July.

Organisers say they have seen a huge demand for information on everything from the legal implications of divorce and separation on personal assets, finance, tax, pensions, property, inheritance and trusts, as well as broader family matters. Lawyers are available for regular 30-minute slots, between 6pm and 7.30pm, on March 2, 16, 30, and again on April 20. Another five dates between early May and late July are now also being lined up. Appointments are recommended given the demand.

Relate Leicestershire centre manager Lynn Pallett, says she is delighted with the success of the scheme.

Sonia Bachu, family lawyer at Harvey Ingram, has been overseeing the initiative.

She says: "I am not surprised by the success and demand for the advice sessions. Relate clients are able to get first-class legal advice from some very experienced, well-informed lawyers in a very comfortable and informal setting.
