Retail team get a pizza the action!
The Retail team at leading regional law firm Harvey Ingram believes in learning every minute detail to help it provide the best service to new clients, and with that in mind it is getting some hands-on experience in pizza making!
The Retail team, consisting of partner Richard Miller, associate Lee Hennell and solicitor Caroline Sutcliffe, were recently given a tour of Domino's Pizza's head office in Milton Keynes and are poised to get some experience of making pizzas themselves at one of the stores it has helped Domino's to open.
The team began acting for Domino’s last May 2005 and, to date, has been instructed on over 120 acquisitions across the country. Domino’s aim is to have a portfolio of between 1,000 outlets by 2017, double the number it has now.
During the tour, the Retail team discovered how the company produces over 900 dough balls an hour, turns them into pizza bases and makes the pizza toppings.
Lee Hennell said: “It provided us with a fantastic opportunity to improve our understanding of the client’s business in order to provide an excellent service. Our team prides itself on knowing how our client’s business operates so we can effectively satisfy their requirements.”
Caroline Sutcliffe said the addition of such a high profile client as Domino’s to the Retail team’s growing list of well known national retailers was testament to its expertise.
“We work in a high pressure environment, but our regular meetings with Domino’s ensure that we can liaise closely to manage and achieve their expectations and deadlines,” she said.
Domino’s Head of Property John Cox said: “We chose Harvey Ingram to act on our behalf in our acquisition programme as we are impressed by their expertise and knowledge of the retail sector. The team provides a commercial and practical approach within the prescribed time scale.”
