De Montfort University

Harvey Ingram has made an initial £15,000 donation to help
De Montfort University (DMU) continue nurturing some of the best talent in the country.
The sponsorship goes towards the university's prestigious new £35million landmark Business and Law Building, a £1,500 first prize in the annual DMU Business Venture Competition, three annual £500 bursaries for students developing the best start-ups in the Campus Enterprise Opportunities Project and an annual £500 scholarship for the DMU Law School Legal Practice Course.
DMU Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Vicky Vass said: "We are thrilled to have received this very generous donation from Harvey Ingram, one of the most prestigious and successful law firms in the region. We are extremely proud of our association with Harvey Ingram and this donation will contribute significantly to supporting our students realise their ambitions."
Loughborough University

Harvey Ingram has further cemented their commitment to supporting enterprise and nurturing innovation with a three-year, £15,000 donation to
Loughborough University.
The sponsorship supports the University’s enterprise and commercialisation activities through sponsorship of flagship events including the Enterprise Awards, Da Vinci Health Technology Awards and Student Business Plan Competition.
Loughborough University Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise), Professor Phill Dickens, said: "We are delighted that Harvey Ingram, one of the most prestigious and successful law firms in the region, has made this commitment to the University. It highlights its value and position as an active member of our community."

FSB Small Business Awards 2010

Harvey Ingram has once again shown it’s commitment to the development of Leicestershire businesses by sponsoring the Service Excellence Award at this years
FSB Small Business Awards 2010.
The awards specifically celebrate the success of small businesses in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire & Rutland. The aim is to showcase the local small business excellence throughout our three counties, recognise outstanding performance and achievement, inspire and act as a driver for local small businesses to prosper and to encourage businesses to think positively in the current economic climate.
The Service Excellence Award recognises those companies that go further and deliver outstanding customer service. The winner of this award will have the customer at its heart and will deploy and manage resources to most effectively meet the needs of its customer base.
Curve theatre

Harvey Ingram is a Founding Patron of Leicester’s iconic £60 million, state-of-the-art
Curve theatre.
The 1,200-seat venue was designed by world-renowned architect Rafael Vinoly and is the cornerstone of Leicester’s new cultural quarter. The stunning steel and glass site features a main 800-seat main auditorium and a smaller, flexible studio space with up to 400 seats. It has a magnificent open-plan foyer set among café, bars, backstage and office areas.
Leicestershire Business Awards 2010

Congratulations to all the winners and runners-up at the Leicestershire Business Awards 2010.
The awards aim to raise the aspirations of local businesses and stimulate healthy competition, whilst promoting Leicestershire as a successful and thriving base for new and growing businesses. Growth Investment Network (East Midlands) Limited - GINEM

East Midlands Development Agency.
GINEM is a network of support for entrepreneurs including top industry specialists and leading organisations in the East Midlands. Members of the network work together to get business propositions ready for investment. The network operates by making business owners aware of the possibilities of raising investment. We advise developing and high growth businesses and help them find the most appropriate source of further support, advice and funding.

Amplified Leicester

Our involvment in the
Amplified Leicester project, places Harvey Ingram at the forefront of the developing new media sector and social enterprise.
It is a city-wide experiment in the use of social media as a tool for promoting and celebrating social integration and creative collaboration within Leicester. The project has attracted endorsement and funding from prestigious organisations at the heart of creative and technological advance such as The National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) and the Phoenix Square Digital Media Centre. It aims to capture and use the creative potential of social media and its success will be used to encourage expansion to other UK cities in the near future.
Engineering YES
Engineering Young Entrepreneurs Scheme is a competition for UK-based post-graduates students and post-doctoral researchers to present a business plan for an imaginary start-up company to a group of investors and industry experts.
Participants learn the techniques of how to plan a new business venture, meet some interesting people who have done it for real and have a lot of fun at the same time! There are also over £1000 worth of cash prizes up for grabs.
Among the judges on the panel is Harvey Ingram partner
John Stobart. He is one of a handful from industry vetting and advising on the spin-out proposals. This year's three-day event at the Novotel in Nottingham, will see up to 60 delegates from Midlands' universities pitching their ideas. During this time they will get mentoring, advice and assessment on all aspects of their proposals and business plan. John's fellow judges include regional venture capitalists, industrialists and academics.
